Sour Cream Raisin Pie


Ingredients

1/3 C. Flour, sifted
2/3 C. Sugar
1/8 Tsp. Salt
1 C. Milk
1 C. Sour Cream
1/2 C. Raisins
2 Eggs, Separated
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 (9 Inch) Pie Crust, Baked

Directions

Mix flour, sugar and salt. Add enough milk
to make a smooth paste. Add egg yolks, beat
well. Add remaining milk and sour cream.
Cook over low heat until mixture begins
to thicken. Add the raisins; cook till thick.
Add vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Top with
Meringue made from egg whites. Bake at 400
degrees for 5 minutes or until brown.
You may also top with cool whip instead.
